Changing How You Manage Change

The evolution of your business involves embracing change. Understanding how to make change happen is the art of choreographing your people, the processes they execute, and the goals you are all working to achieve.

The term change management itself is kind of a buzzword and, in truth, can be vague. So for our purposes, we’ll stick with the definition used by the Association of Change Management Professionals, which states it’s “the practice of applying a structured approach to transition an organization from a current state to a future state to achieve expected benefits.”

It’s advancing your business from where it is today to where you want it to be in the future.

This could be improving a single component of how your business operates, or more broadly implementing a significantly different business strategy all together. But either way, it is strategic and there are ways to do it right and there are ways to do it wrong.
